REEDVILLE—Reba Sisson Haynie, 96, of Reedville died November 8, 2024. She was a retired Northumberland County High School teacher.
Reba was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Cecil Jett Haynie; her parents, James Loren Sisson Sr. and Inez Anderson Sisson; and her brother, James Loren Sisson Jr.
Reba is survived by her brother, Edwin Anderson Sisson; her nieces and nephews, Christa Mesrobian (John), James L. Sisson III (Cindy), Lee Graham (Mark Granville-Smith), Andy Sisson, Lynne S. Haynie (Russell), Suzanne S. Smith (Brian), Heather Maxwell (Charlie Greenberg); 10 great nieces and nephews; and seven great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, at Bethany United Methodist Church, Reedville. Interment will follow at Roseland Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
