Lancaster’s junior varsity and varsity boys basketball teams picked up a pair of easy home wins over Surry last Thursday.
The JV team opened with a 40-19 win over the Cougars. Branndonn Wade scored eight points to lead the Red Devils and X’Zaveion Owens and Sean Thomas added seven points each.
Lancaster led by six at the half then put up a 10-4 run in the third. The Devils scored 14 in the fourth with scoring from six different shooters.
