Lancaster High School doubled Rappahannock’s output in the first half and went on to beat the Raiders, 79-46, in a varsity boys basketball contest Saturday, December 27.
Jamarcus Russell, Antonio Tomlin and Deavion Lucas did the bulk of the work for LHS with Russell scoring the game-high 36 points. He scored 17 in the first half when LHS took a 40-20 lead then put up 15 of his team’s 21 points in the third quarter.
Tomlin finished with 19 points and Lucas 18 after scoring 10 points with two three-pointers in Lancaster’s 18-point fourth quarter.
The win put Lancaster at 2-2 overall after….
