Red Devils likely to see soccer tournament action

Lancaster will have a two-week break before the Region A soccer tournament begins May 25.

After losing to Mathews and Washington & Lee last week, the Red Devils are 4-10 overall and holding seventh place in the region. However, Lancaster will still advance to the region tournament in two weeks and will likely match up with higher-seeded Middlesex or Washington & Lee, according to LHS coach Rob Pittman. Several teams still have make-up games to play this week.

Last Wednesday, Washington & Lee blew a close game open in the last 12 minutes to beat Lancaster, 6-2.
