After dropping Northern Neck District games to Essex and Northumberland early last week, the Red Devils rallied for a couple of wins over Rappahannock and Colonial Beach in varsity baseball.
Northumberland scored eight runs in the top of the third to put the game out of reach April 29 and went on to beat Lancaster, 19-3, in a five-inning outing at Dream Fields.
The next day, the Devils headed to Tappahannock, where Essex rallied for a six-run fourth inning and went on to win, 9-1. Jayson Gill had a sacrifice fly to drive in the only run of the game for LHS…
