Red Devils’ ‘spring practice’ gridiron season comes to an end

Lancaster High School’s abbreviated varsity football season ended last week with a no contest.

The Red Devils’ first round of regional play against Rappahannock last Thursday was canceled out of an abundance of caution, according to LHS athletic director Dave Zeiler. The game was not rescheduled.

Rappahannock will play at West Point Friday, April 9, in a regional semifinal and King & Queen will host Northumberland in the other.

Lancaster lost its three games this season….
