Red Devils win district cross country meet

Senior Josh Woolard paced 29 runners in the boys race of the Northern Neck District cross country meet and led the hosting Red Devils to the team championship Wednesday, October 25. 

Woolard was the individual medalist with a time of 19:13 on 3.1-mile Red Devils home course at Hills Quarter. He was followed across the finish line by teammate River Diaz, who had a time of 19:28 as the runner-up. The LHS scoring five had a low 26 points for the team trophy. 

Rappahannock was second with 31 points and Northumberland third with 74. Westmoreland did not have a full team of five….
