Reedville Fishermen’s Museum announces Christmas activities

Santa will arrive in Reedville at 9 a.m. December 8—not in his traditional sleigh, but aboard the Elva C. workboat that belongs to the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum.

Children of all ages are invited to greet Santa when he arrives at RFM dock, 504 Main Street, Reedville, and then walk next door to Bethany UMC for pictures, Christmas stories, games and light refreshments, said executive director Lee Langston-Harrison.

At 10 a.m. the RFM two-day “Christmas on Cockrell’s Creek” House Tour will begin. Homes, festively decorated by the Chesapeake Bay Garden Club, are an interesting mix of cozy and grand. All are on Reedville’s house tour for the very first time…
