On Saturday, August 15, the Regent Point Yacht Club (RPYC) sponsored a marine diesel engine seminar for its members as well as members of the Yankee Point and Rappahannock River Yacht clubs. James Wagner, yard manager for the Regent Point Marina and Boat Yard, used a serviceable Yanmar diesel engine to describe each component of the marine diesel, reported Charles Hall. He also explained routine and not so routine maintenance procedures and how to properly winterize a marine diesel engine.
