WARSAW—According to a recent broadband update to the Northern Neck Planning District Commission, more Northern Neck residents should be logging on and streaming by year’s end as work on the sprawling four-county broadband project with All Points Broadband (APB), Dominion Energy and Northern Neck Electric Cooperative is nearing completion, approximately three years after it was officially launched.
Using a $10.3 million Virginia Telecommunications Initiative (VATI) grant, Dominion Energy and Northern Neck Electric Cooperative completed the installation of “middle mile” fiber optic cable in Northumberland, Richmond and Westmoreland counties.
