The Bay Center will offer free grief support services this “holiday season” to anyone who has experienced the pain of a loved one’s death.
“That first holiday is heartbreaking and is often about just getting through,” said Cheri Bennett, chairman of the grief support action team. “Even for those who have been on the grief path for several years, the holiday season can still be a very difficult and lonely time.”
Grief is a long journey and having the support of others who have also experienced such loss can be both comforting and reassuring especially during the holidays, she said.
Join the Grief Support Group 6-week holiday season series, which will be held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesdays, November 29 to January 3, by registering at thebaycenter.org.
