Grace Episcopal Church, 303 South Main Street, Kilmarnock, will offer a Celtic service at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 13.
“The service will feature The Rev. Talley Banazek,” said Laura Rowe, a member of Celtic Graces, the team of musicians who provide music for the service.
Rev. Banazek is the daughter of Grace Church members Laura Frank and Latané Sale. She recently completed a chaplain residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Level One Trauma Hospital in Richmond. During her residency she served as a deacon and then as assisting priest at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Bon Air. She was ordained in April 2026 as an Episcopal priest and is currently discerning her next call, said Rowe.
Rev. Banazek loved worshiping with Grace Church at the end of August while visiting her parents and also enjoyed meeting parishioners at an Eat, Pray, Love dinner with her mother during that same visit. “We feel very fortunate to have Talley visit us again, and are very excited to hear her Reflection for the service,” said Rowe.
A simple supper of soup and bread will be served after the service.
