Rev. Coye to lead Celtic service during season of liminal space

Grace Episcopal Church, 303 South Main Street, Kilmarnock, will celebrate a Celtic service at 5:30 p.m. November 9. The guest speaker for the evening will be Rev. Dr. Thomas R. Coye, who celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination as a minister of word and sacrament/teaching elder in 2023.

In 1988, St. Andrews Presbyterian, Kilmarnock, a new church development of Hanover Presbytery, met Rev. Coye at an event in Richmond and subsequently called him as their first installed pastor in July 1988. Since that time and with his leadership, the St. Andrews church community has taken seriously its mission to seek, celebrate and serve Christ within and beyond the Northern Neck, reported Laura Rowe.
