Rev. Dr. Williams named grand marshal of Kilmarnock parade

The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce recently announced the Rev. Dr. Tyron D. Williams will serve as grand marshal for the 42nd Kilmarnock Lighted Christmas Parade.

Rev. Williams, through his community involvement, has elevated both Lancaster County and Northumberland County, said executive director Ann Paparella. Rev. Williams serves as pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He also serves as the president of the Northumberland County Chapter of the NAACP, the chairman of the Community Liaison and Advocacy Council in Northumberland County and a member of steering committee for LEAD Northern Neck where he teaches a class entitled “The Journey of Diversity and Reconciliation.”

Rev. Williams is involved in many other community organizations and is a leader and activist throughout the area. He is passionate about….
