In July, Kilmarnock United Methodist Church (KUMC), 89 East Church Street, Kilmarnock, welcomed Rev. Chris Watson as its new pastor, along with his wife, Jennifer.
Rev. Watson, an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, brings both a deep passion for ministry and an interesting background, reported Laura Reeves. He earned a bachelor’s in historic preservation from the University of Mary Washington, where he and Jennifer met, and later completed a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.
