RFA announces Arts for Youth programs

Performances of stories from classic American literature, an iconic fairy tale and a blend of history, math and rock and roll, highlight the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts’ educational outreach program for Lancaster County students this coming year.

The program, Arts for Youth, supports arts education by bringing a quality lineup of performing artists to the schools, which have limited resources available today.

“It’s a great selection of classics, performed by two of Virginia’s finest acting companies, along with a new production from the Roanoke Children’s Theatre that will deliver enjoyment, amusement and hopefully inspiration, to the Lancaster County students,” said president Jamie Tucker.

Arts for Youth is funded by a grant from the River Counties Community Foundation with additional support from the Tidewater Foundation.
