Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern cancels April 18 farmer’s market

The season-opening Heathsville Farmers Market on April 18 has been canceled.

This is the result of official COVID-19 announcements from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which recommends the cancellation of all events of 50 people or more for the foreseeable future, reported manager Corinne Anthony Becker.

Sponsored by non-profit Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, the Heathsville Farmers Market is normally scheduled for the third Saturday of the month, April through October, said Becker. The first market would also have included the Northern Neck Wine, Brew…
