Region 1A champion Rappahannock headed the list of honorees on the all-region girls basketball team.
The Raiderettes, who won both the Northern Neck District and Region 1A championships, were eliminated from postseason play last Friday with a 58-52 double overtime loss to Riverheads in the Class 1 state quarterfinals.
Senior Brianna Rich was named region player of the year and Ellen Gaines the regional coach of the year after leading Rappahannock to a 20-7 overall mark this season.
