
At the March meeting of The Rivah Quilters Guild, a round robin was held with three members each demonstrating a technique that is helpful in quilting or sewing. Members could travel to each station to observe and ask questions.
Karen Reed showed a quick technique to construct a flying geese pattern. Yvonne Hurt demonstrated several notions that make sewing or “un-sewing” quicker and less laborious. And Anna Ransome shared how to use Elmer’s glue to baste and make other tasks simpler.
The quilters meet at 10 a.m. on first Fridays at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 435 East Church Street, Kilmarnock. There are always lots of laughs and friendship shared….
