CLINTWOOD—Ronald Paul “Pooh Bear” Green, formerly of Weems, passed away on March 29, 2020.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ayers and Hildred Green, and Palmer and Myrtle Mullins; father, Junior Darrell Green; and brother, Daniel Eric Green.
Ronald was born in 1963 and lived in Dickenson County until moving to Lancaster County around 1980, where he began working on a farm. Ronald was skilled at welding, carpentry, sheetrock installation, auto and small engine mechanics, electronic diagnostics and repair, and especially loved troubleshooting and repairing computers.
Also, Ronald loved the mountains of Southwest Virginia and moved back to the mountains several times.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Diane Green; mother, Janie Green Hubbard; brother, James Darrel Green; grandchildren, Hailey and Gage; nephew, Tyler; nieces, Kristen and Jennifer; great-niece, Seraphina; aunt, Sally Mullins; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to the coronavirus, a celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
