Sail will be offered from 6-8 p.m. March 2 and continue on Mondays for eight weeks at the Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron Classroom, 453C North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
The course will address the basics of sailing, boat designs, terminology, rigging, safety, hull shapes, sail configurations, wind, water forces, steering, helmsmanship, sailing upwind, downwind and spinnaker handling.
