Samuel remains incarcerated on abduction charge

HEATHSVILLE—Tyrone Noel Samuel, 50, remains behind bars at Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw after he was denied bail following a January 21 arraignment in Northumberland County General District Court.

Samuel was charged January 15 with abduction by force of 28-year-old Ahrea’l La’Shae Smith, three days after Smith went missing after closing the Claraville Little Sue convenience store alone.

According to Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp, Samuel is currently only facing the abduction charge, but more charges are likely….
