Lancaster first baseman Logan Kemp tags a Northumberland runner as she scrambles back to first during a junior varsity softball game Monday. The Lady Indians beat the Lady Devils, 8-1, in the first of a three-game Northern Neck District series for LHS this week. Lancaster’s JV team played Essex Tuesday and will host Colonial Beach at 5:30 p.m. today, May 3, at Dream Fields near Kilmarnock.
