School officials open new facility

The Northumberland County Public Schools on Monday, September 11, celebrated the completion of the newly constructed JROTC/STEM building. The facility will be used by JROTC, STEM students and several athletic teams. “This building is not just for our students and our faculty, but also our community,” said school board chairman Betty Christopher during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
