Last Saturday, the Christchurch football team traveled to St. George to face the number one Blue Ridge Barons in the semi-final game for the VISAA title. In a back and forth game that came down to the final play, the Seahorses upset the top team 33-31 to advance to the finals for the 2017 season.
This Saturday they will be underdogs again as they travel to Norfolk Christian to take on the Ambassadors, who were ranked number three, but blew out the number two ranked Covenant School Eagles, reported Jennifer Homer. Kick-off is 1 p.m.
The Barons scored the first two touchdowns of the game and the Seahorses scored the next two. Back and forth it went throughout the second half.
