Seahorses open soccer season; Soucek Memorial is this weekend

The Christchurch School boys soccer team kicked off a strong start to the season with a 7-0 win over Walsingham Academy of Williamsburg last week.

The Seahorses will host the Jason Soucek Memorial Soccer Games in memory and honor of Christchurch graduate and Middlesex County resident Jason “Juice” Soucek, Class of 1992. Soucek is the son of Archie, Class of 1961, and Claudia Soucek of Saluda.

Jason Soucek died in 1996 while a student at Roanoke College. At Christchurch, he was a standout in soccer, basketball and lacrosse, earning….
