As worshippers entered the beautifully manicured lawns of Sharon Baptist Church on Resurrection Sunday, they were greeted with a new banner that carries the church’s slogan for the year.
Pastor Rev. Dale Bunns, realizing that the work is plenteous and the laborers are few, has adopted the motto that working together the congregation can accomplish more, reported Lloyd Hill, president of the Sharon Baptist Deacon’s Ministry.
“Our pastor said that the good Lord took care of us in 2023 and will do even more in 2024, so our church’s mantra for the year is, ‘Get Up, Let’s Go in 2024’,” said Hill.
