Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against five individuals.
Felonies
James Charles Newton, 56, of Weems was charged October 23 with three counts of manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing or possessing with the intent to manufacture, sell, give or distribute a controlled substance.
Douglas Nelson Goodman, 45, of Heathsville was charged October 26 with two counts of possessing or transporting a firearm after having been convicted of a violent felony.
Deondre Ta-Von Lampkin, 30, of Kilmarnock, was charged October 26 with two counts of entering a dwelling with the intent to commit larceny, assault and battery or other felony; unlawfully and feloniously destroying, defacing or damaging property valued at $1,000 or more; and misdemeanor petit larceny.
Misdemeanors
A Weems man, 58, was charged October 27 with assault and battery of a family or household member.
A White Stone man, 46, was charged October 29 with issuing bad checks on behalf of business firm or corporation in payment of wages.

October 23: Staff responded to the 300 block of White Chapel Road for a stolen vehicle.
October 24: Staff responded to the 50 block of Old Airport Road for a suspicious person, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a citizen requesting an emergency protective order, and to North Main and School streets for a disabled vehicle.
October 25: Staff responded to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge to assist Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a trespass complaint, and to the 300 block of Twin Branch Road for gunshots in the late evening hours.
October 26: Staff responded to the 1000 block of Cherry Point Drive for the report of larceny, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a juvenile complaint, to the 500 block of Devils Bottom Road for destruction of property, to the Norris Bridge to assist Department of Wildlife Resources with illegal fishing, and to the 300 block of Buzzards Neck Road for gunshots in the late evening hours.
October 27: Staff responded to the 1400 block of Irvington Road for an assault, to the 1900 block of Ocran Road for suspicious activity, to Mary Ball and River roads for a reckless driver, to the 100 block of Kellum Drive for check theft and forgery, to the 600 block of North Main Street for gunshots, and to the 600 block of Chesapeake Drive for trespassing.
October 28: Staff responded to the 400 block of Twin Branch Road for legal advice, to the 1900 block of Goodluck Road for destruction of property, to the Norris Bridge for debris in the highway, to the 300 block of White Hall Road for a disabled vehicle, to Mary Ball Road and Avis Trail for debris in the highway, to the 9000 block of Mary Ball Road for disabled vehicle, to River and Millenbeck roads for trespassing, and to the 100 block of Doggett Lane for suspicious activity.
October 29: Staff responded to King Carter Drive for suspicious activity, to Twin Branch Road for a verbal disagreement, to the 10 block of Georgetown Lane for a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and to Hills Quarter for suspicious activity.
October 30: Staff responded to Hills Quarter for suspicious activity, and to the 1900 block of White Chapel Road for legal advice.
Staff also conducted 11 traffic stops, issued seven summonses, handled two calls for traffic control, recorded four deer strike accidents, investigated four building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged an inmate transport, received seven E911 hang up calls, and fielded three calls for animal control service.
Fire calls
The Kilmarnock Volunteer fire Department responded to a fire alarm at 723 Old Saint Johns Road.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 10 individuals.
Felonies
Brandon Dallas Parker, 32, of Henrico County was charged October 19 on a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for violating the conditions of his probation on original charges of distribution of an imitation Schedule I/II drug.
Orin Purshawn Lee, 34, of Reedville was charged October 24 on a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for violating conditions of his probation.
Dorian Dwayne Howard, 37, of Callao was charged October 26 with 12 felony counts each of forgery and uttering. He also was charged with misdemeanor larceny, seven counts of misdemeanor obtaining monies by false pretenses and 12 counts of misdemeanor forgery.
Douglas Nelson Goodman, 45, was charged October 26 on a direct indictment issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court on two counts of a violent felon with possession/transporting a firearm. He was served by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Nicole Inita Hudson, 36, of Callao was charged October 26 on direct indictment issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for arson.
Deondre Ta-Von Lampkin, 29, of Kilmarnock was charged October 26 on a direct indictment issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for two felony charges of entering a structure to commit assault and battery and one felony charge of destruction of property with intent. He also was charged with one misdemeanor larceny and one count of petit larceny.
Gregory Ross Drunagel, 45, of Warrenton was charged October 29 with intentionally damaging property, valued at $1,000 or more.
Misdemeanors
A Warsaw woman, 38, was charged October 22 with assault and battery.
A Farnham man, 23, was charged October 25 on a capias/attachment of the body for failing to appear in the Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on original charges of assault and battery.
A Callao man, 37, was charged October 26 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Lancaster County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for failing to appear. He was served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
