Sheriff’s Report 12-23-21

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against three individuals.

Felony

Brian Keith Hall, 48, of White Stone, was charged December 13 with obtaining money by false pretense, larceny over $1000 and construction fraud; advance of over $1000 and failure to perform work.

Misdemeanors

A Weems man, 46, was charged December 13 with substituting sample of a screening test for drugs/alcohol and violating pretrial release, contempt of court.

A Kilmarnock woman, 31, was charged December 15 with probation violation on a felony offense.

December 13: Staff responded to the 800 block of Crab Point Road for a trespasser and Good Luck Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash.

December 14: Staff responded to the 100 block of Methodist Church Road for suspicious activity and to the 8100 block of Mary Ball Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash.

December 15: Staff responded to the 900 block of Peirces Road for a disorderly person, to the 2400 block of Windmill Point Road for a reckless driver, to Weems Road for a reckless drivers, to the 200 block of Fox Den Road for stolen home heating oil, to the 6100 block of Mary Ball Road to check the welfare of a resident, to the White Stone area on Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, and to Mary Ball and Chases roads for an abandoned vehicle in the roadway.

December 16: Staff responded to the 100 block of Washington Street for a domestic disturbance.

December 17: Staff responded to the 3200 block of White Chapel Road for a domestic disturbance, the 400 block of Kelley Neck Road for vandalism of a dwelling, to Mary Ball Road and Clover Lane for juveniles playing in the roadway, to the 800 block of Clark Point Drive to check the welfare of a resident, to the 200 block of Methodist Church Road for a disorderly person, to Regina and Mary Ball roads for a domestic disturbance involving weapons, to the 400 block of Chesapeake Drive to check the welfare of a resident, to the 100 block of Chesapeake Drive for a stolen vehicle, to the 900 block of Rappahannock Drive for a stolen vehicle, to the 5300 block of Mary Ball Road for a hit and run-property damage, and to the 800 block of Beanes Road to check the welfare of the residents.

December 18: Staff responded to the 400 block of Benson Road for a domestic disturbance, to the 200 block of Weems Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to Mary Ball and Norris roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 800 block of Weems Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash.

December 19: Staff responded to the 1700 block of Taylors Creek Road for a noise violation from loud music, to the 200 block of Burnt Wharf Road for a noise violation from loud music, to Jessie duPont Memorial Highway and Morattico Church Road for a reckless driver, to Mary Ball and Oak Farm roads for juveniles playing in the highway, and to the 100 block of Binnacle Lane to check the welfare of a resident.

Staff also conducted 13 traffic stops, issued 12 summonses, assisted a motorist, recorded three deer strike accidents, handled seven calls for traffic control, investigated two building alarms, logged five inmate transports, received 19 E911 hang-up calls, and fielded a call for animal control.

Fire call

Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department responded to separate traffic crashes on Mary Ball Road and White Chapel Road.
