Sheriff’s reports 03-17-22

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against four individuals.

Felony

Glenn Odell Dameron, 52, of Lancaster was charged March 10 with making a materially false statement on a required state or federal form consenting to a criminal history record check.

Misdemeanors

A Lancaster woman, 31, was charged March 9 with contempt of court: failure to appear.

A Lancaster man, 39, was charged March 10 with assault.

A White Stone man, 23, was charged March 11 with contempt of court: failure to appear.

Activity report

March 7: Staff responded to the 500 block of North Main Street to assist Kilmarnock Police Department with a verbal disagreement, to a walk-in report of a violation of a protective order, to the 100 block of DMV Drive for a hold up alarm; to the 100 block of Shady Lane for a person with suicidal ideations, and to the 8800 block of Mary Ball Road for a fight in progress.

March 8: Staff responded to the 2400 block of Morattico Road for a person overdosed on narcotics, to the 100 block Tabernacle Lane for a person with an altered mental status as well as alcohol consumption, and to the 300 block of Moran Creek Road for a juvenile behavior issue.

March 9: Staff responded to Chesapeake Drive and Rose Lane for a traffic hazard from standing water, to the 100 block of Greenvale Creek Road for a civil issue, and to the 16000 block of Mary Ball Road for a domestic disturbance.

March 10: Staff responded to the 2100 block of White Chapel Road for a wanted person, to the 100 block of School Street for a child custody dispute, to the 2000 block of Crawfords Corner Road for identity theft. to the 1000 block of Weems Road for obtaining money under false pretense, to the 100 block of Harris Road for a disorderly person, to the 400 block of Wilson Lane for a verbal disagreement with alcohol involved, to the 300 block of Mosquito Point Road for a burglary in progress, and to the 100 block of Methodist Church Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash.

March 11: Staff responded to the 400 block of Wilson Lane for the report of a fight in progress.

March 12: Staff responded to the 3300 block of Lara Road for a domestic assault involving alcohol, to Mary Ball and Goodluck roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 600 block of Chesapeake Drive for a fight in progress resulting in serious injury.

March 13: Staff responded to the 500 block of Pinckardsville Road for unauthorized use of a vehicle, to the 300 block of Ocran Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 3200 block of Merry Point Road for a verbal disagreement over a vicious dog, and to the 100 block of Entertainment Drive for a disorderly person.

Staff also conducted 20 traffic stops, issued 14 summonses, assisted two motorists, handled five calls for traffic control, investigated five building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged an inmate transport, received 21 E911 hang-up calls, and fielded two calls for animal control service.

Fire calls

White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Cove Creek Court and a traffic crash on Ocran Road.

Kilmarnock VFD responded to a traffic crash on Mary Ball Road and with White Stone VFD to a fire/smoke alarm on McSwain Road.

Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a request for structure fire-mutual aid for Northumberland on Georgetown Road.
