Sheriffs’ reports 06-24-21

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against 6 individuals.

Felonies

Scyler Alexander Sterling Folan, 31, of Weems was charged June 16 with strangulation resulting in bodily injury and assault and battery of a family member.

Angela Marie Trammell, 51, of Lancaster was charged June 17 with assault and battery of a law enforcement officer and assault and battery of an emergency medical personnel member.

Misdemeanors

A Lancaster woman, 50, was charged June 14 with two counts of destruction of property valued at less than $1,000 and revocation of pretrial release.

A Lancaster woman, 45, was charged June 16 with contempt of court: disobeying process, judgement.

A Brooklyn, Md., woman, 30, was charged June 18 with four counts of failing to appear in court, two counts of failing to appear on a felony offense and probation violation on a felony offense.

A White Stone man, 22, was charged June 19 with appearing intoxicated in public.

Activity report

June 14: Staff responded to the 100 block of Entertainment Drive to check the welfare of a person with an altered mental status, to the 1800 block of Hoecake Road to check the welfare of a resident, and responded to the 100 block of Sandlin Drive for a trespasser.

June 15: Staff responded to Greentown Road for an unregistered motorcycle with the operator driving recklessly, to the 100 block of River Bluff Road for an attempt to obtain money by fraud, to Mary Ball and White Chapel roads for a reckless driver, and to the 200 block of Old Fairgrounds Way for an intoxicated man with a concealed weapon.

June 16: Staff responded to Mary Ball and White Chapel roads for a reckless driver, to the 100 block of Chestnut Grove Lane for a man with an altered mental status, to the 600 block of Rappahannock Drive for a suspicious person, and to the 500 block of Beach Road for a fight in progress.

June 17: Staff responded to the 100 block of Ring Farm Road for a domestic disturbance, and to the 400 block of Greentown Road for a trespasser.

June 18: Staff responded to the 300 block of Clubhouse Road for a stolen vehicle in the area, to the 400 block of Christ Church Road for a trespasser, to Fleets Bay Road for a vehicle that ran into the ditch, to the 400 block of Twin Branch Road for a verbal disagreement, to the 4600 block of Mary Ball Road for a female with an altered mental status, to the 8800 block of Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, and to the 200 block of Methodist Church Road for a domestic assault.

June 19: Staff responded to Weems and Christ Church Roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash with injuries, to the 2400 block of River Road for a domestic disturbance, to the 100 block of Sandlin Drive for threats to harm another, to the 500 block of Weems Road for a custody dispute, and to the200 block of Oyster Creek Drive for a domestic disturbance.

June 20: Staff responded to the 5700 block of Mary Ball Road for suspicious activity.

Staff also conducted three traffic stops, issued one summons, assisted four motorists, handled a call for traffic control, investigated seven building alarms, logged three inmate transports, received 21 E911 hang-up calls and fielded five requests for animal control service.

Fire calls

White Stone and Kilmarnock volunteer fire departments responded to a traffic crash at Weems and Christ Church roads.

Upper Lancaster VFD established a land zone for emergency medical services on Mary Ball Road.

Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 17 individuals.

Felonies

Wesley Alan Tanner II of Reedville was charged May 29 with strangulation and assault and battery. These were Northumberland County warrants served by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.

Myshaun Tihee Porter, 22, of White Stone was charged May 29 with possession of a controlled substance. He also was charged with malicious wounding and reckless handling of a firearm. Other charges include assault and battery of a family member, intentionally damaging property and possession of a Schedule IV drug.

Joshua Robert Bryant, 36, of Lancaster was charged June 1 on a capias to show cause issued by the Essex County Combined Court for failing to appear. A capias to show cause was issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court to show cause why his suspended sentence should not be revoked.

Nicole Inita Hudson, 34, of Lottsburg was charged June 7 with arson.

Corneisha Sharde Kelly, 29, of Heathsville was charged June 9 with a capias to show cause issued from the Northumberland County Circuit Court for failing to appear. She also was charged with a misdemeanor for giving a false report to law enforcement about a commission of a crime.

Tyheem Maiadi Redmond, 19, of Heathsville was charged June 13 with possession with intent to distribute/sell more than an ounce, but less than five pounds, of marijuana. He also was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. Other charges consisted of reckless driving.

Misdemeanors

A Weems woman, 30, was charged May 24 with assault and battery and criminal trespassing.

A Heathsville woman, 27, was charged May 28 with criminal trespassing.

A Lancaster man, 44, was charged May 29 with trespassing, after being forbidden to do so. This was a Northumberland County warrant served by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

A Reedville man, 56, was charged June 4 with assault and battery of a family member.

A Fredericksburg man, 58, was charged June 4 with failing to appear in the Northumberland County General District Court for the original charges of driving suspended and reckless driving.

A Stamford, Conn., man, 29, was charged with assault and battery of a family member and possession of marijuana.

A Callao man, 27, was charged June 7 with failing to appear in the Northumberland County General District Court on charges of driving suspended, second offense and reckless driving.

A Heathsville man, 38, was charged June 7 with criminal trespassing. This was a Westmoreland County warrant, served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

A Reedville woman, 30, was charged June 8 with possession of marijuana, first offense. The warrant was served by the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

An Alexandria man, 67, was charged June 9 with petit larceny, first offense.

A Heathsville woman, 52, was charged June 10 with a capias to show cause issued from the Northumberland County Circuit Court for failing to comply with pre-trial supervision due to providing a false urine test and receiving a new charge of substituting a urine sample. This was a Northumberland County Capias, served by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
