Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against six individuals.
Felonies
Joseph Steven Callahan, male, 52, of Burgess was charged July 15 with failure to appear in the Lancaster County Circuit Court July 12 on the underlying charge of violation of probation on a felony offense.
Stacie Alma McCoy, female, 44, of Gloucester was charged July 21 with having been a driver of a vehicle involved in an accident in which an attended vehicle or other attended property was damaged, failure to immediately stop as close to the scene of the accident as possible without obstructing traffic; driving or operating a motor vehicle while having a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% or more by weight by volume or 0.08% or more per 210 liters of breath (misdemeanor); refusal to submit breath or blood for chemical test (misdemeanor); and reckless driving by driving a vehicle that was not under proper control on a highway (misdemeanor).
Misdemeanors
A Heathsville woman, 38, was charged July 17 with assault and battery.
A Kilmarnock man, 19, was charged July 18 with pointing, holding or brandishing a firearm, air or gas operated weapon in a public place in such a manner as to reasonably induce fear.
A Kilmarnock woman, 21, was charged July 19 with appearing in public in an intoxicated condition; disorderly conduct; and obstructing justice, resisting arrest.
A White Stone man, 36, was charged July 20 with revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on the underlying charge of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic (Hanover County warrant).

July 16: Staff responded to Windmill Point Road for an abandoned vehicle, to River and White Chapel roads for a downed tree, to the 300 block of Twin Branch Road for an assault, and to the 16000 block of Mary Ball Road for check fraud.
July 17: Staff responded to Mary Ball and Chases roads for a disabled vehicle, to the 100 block of Kathy Drive for legal advice, to Harris and Irvington roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash, and to Irvington Road and White Pine Drive for a traffic complaint.
July 18: Staff responded to Mary Ball and Harris roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash.
July 19: Staff responded to the 700 block of Lara Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 10 block of Brent Court for a breaking and entering, to the 200 block of Ocran Road for a larceny, to the 200 block of Rappahannock Drive for debris in the highway, to the 1100 block of Irvington Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 400 block of Wilson Lane for a fight in progress.
July 20: Staff responded to the 100 block of Morattico Road for legal advice, to the 700 block of Fleets Bay Road for a wanted person, to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for a disabled vehicle, to Pinckardsville Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 900 block of Jessie duPont Memorial Highway for a downed tree, to Pinckardsville Road for high water in the highway, to the 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for a suspicious person, to Laurel Point Road for a downed tree, to Burnt Wharf Road for a noise complaint, and to the 200 block of Cow Shed Road for gunshots in the late evening hours.
July 21: Staff responded to the 1000 block of Beach Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 2000 block of Windmill Point Road for a downed tree, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to the 100 block of Smith Lane for an adult welfare check, and to the 4000 block of Mary Ball Road for debris in the highway.
Staff also conducted 14 traffic stops, issued eight summonses, handled a request for traffic control, investigated six building alarms, logged an inmate transport, received four E911 hang up calls, and fielded three calls for animal control service.
Fire Calls
Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fuel spill at 570 East Fairway Drive.
White Stone VFD responded to a traffic crash at 1177 Beach Road.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 14 individuals.
Felonies
Gregory Scott Finkbiner, 62, of Lusby, Md., was charged July 6 with breaking and entering and malicious wounding.
Lakeya Monae Thorton, 39, of Heathsville was charged July 8 with a capias to show cause issued from the Northumberland County Circuit Court for four misdemeanor charges of violating probation. She also was charged with three felony counts of violating probation.
Kevin Maurice Edwards, 41, of Heathsville was charged July 8 with unauthorized use of a vehicle and assault and battery of a family member.
Shanenon Lee Hawkins, no age given, was charged July 18 with a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for two felony counts of violating probation and two misdemeanor counts of violating probation.

A Heathsville woman, 56, was charged July 3 with animal cruelty.
A Heathsville man, 36, was charged July 4 with disorderly conduct.
A Mechanicsville woman, 63, was charged July 6 with driving under the influence, first offense.
A woman (no address given), 70, was charged July 8 with criminal trespassing.
A Heathsville man, 52, was charged July 12 with a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for failing to appear.
A Heathsville woman, 63, was charged July 13 with criminal trespassing.
A Farnham man, 43, was charged July 15 with a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for failing to appear on child support.
A Heathsville man, 50, was charged July 17 with threatening an illegal act over the phone.
A Tappahannock man, 44, was charged July 18 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for failing to provide support.
A Center Cross man, 40 was charged July 18 with a capias to show cause issued by the Westmoreland County Circuit Court for failing to appear on a misdemeanor offense. He was served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
