The Kilmarnock Museum and Middle Bay Realty have partnered to present the museum’s second of three post-pandemic shopping bonanzas in Kilmarnock.
“Christmas in July” will be held Friday and Saturday, July 9 and 10, among participating businesses throughout Kilmarnock.
Seeing the need to help jump start the local economy and at the same time give back to the businesses that have generously supported the museum for the past 20-plus years, the museum’s board agreed to pursue ideas to encourage the “Shop Local, Shop Kilmarnock” events, said museum president Carroll Lee Ashburn.
Following a successful inaugural “Salebration” event in June, the museum decided to move forward with Christmas in July and for this event, Middle Bay Realty will sponsor a grand prize $500 cash drawing, said Ashburn. Shoppers are urged to register for the drawing in as many stores as possible….
