The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society will hold its “Shuckin’ on the Lancaster Green” Oyster Roast from 1-4 p.m. November 11 at 8346 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster. Oysters will be served until 3 p.m.
Advance tickets are required. The fee is $60 for members or $65 for the public, inclusive of all food and drinks. Purchase tickets at lancastervahistory.org, 462-7280, or the museum from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays.
