Sign dedication will recognize significance of native plants at Town Centre Park in Kilmarnock

The Northern Neck Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society on Wednesday, June 28, will dedicate a new sign about the importance of the native plants incorporated in the development of Town Centre Park in Kilmarnock. The program will begin at 1 p.m. at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

The new sign is a collaborative effort between the Native Plant Society and the Friends of the Rappahannock in celebrating native flora and the biodiversity and ecological services they provide. It will complement the existing Friends of the Rappahannock sign that explains….
