Three Heritage Arts classes have been added to the schedule at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
Coffee-time Sip and Paint will return January 12 with a session on creating “Neurographic Art.”
Developed by a psychologist in 2014, the neurographic art process engages both one’s emotional and aesthetic intelligence in order to produce a calming piece of art, reported executive director Corinne Becker. Prompts provided by the instructor, Celeste Johnston, will be offered to help to express emotions through lines and color.
No drawing or painting experience needed. The fee is $35, plus a $5 material fee. All equipment will be provided.
Coffee-time Sip and Art will offer “Fuzzy Valentines” on February 9….
