Some disassembly required

Dismantling began on the roof and second story of the Lancaster Tavern & Inn in Lancaster last week. The historic landmark was ravaged by a fire on April 1 which required a response from six area fire departments. Although the second story, attic and roof had extensive damage, damage on the first floor in the dining area and kitchen was minimal. Owner Carroll Reiblich hopes to have the restaurant open again by winter. Photo by Lisa Hinton-Valdrighi
