Special Christmas Jazz Compline will be presented at St. Stephen’s

A special Christmas Jazz Compline will be offered by the local sextet, At Water’s Edge, at 5:30 p.m. December 8 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Heathsville. 

Jazzy versions of Christmas songs will be played. Selections include “Mary Did You Know?” by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene, as well as “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night” and other traditional carols. 

The ancient service of compline, or night prayer, combines music with prayers and readings.
