KILMARNOCK—Celtic music duo Spencer & Beane of Kilmarnock recently announced the upcoming release of their third CD, “Amhràin Saoil.” A free concert to introduce the CD to the community will be held at 7 p.m. April 27 at Grace Episcopal Church, 303 South Main Street, Kilmarnock.

“It’s still our classical fusion style, we do our own thing because we both come from different backgrounds…the tunes are folk tunes and they are all either Scottish or Irish this time around,” said Mei-Li Beane. “We have had a lot of fun with adding instruments. We play all of them but this time we have a mandolin, drums, low-whistle, tin-whistle, violin, viola, guitar, electric guitar and singing.”
