Spring training to start April 1 at Historic Christ Church

WEEMS—Historic Christ Church & Museum (HCC&M), 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, recently announced spring training for new and returning volunteers. HCC has a vibrant team of active volunteers and is recruiting more for the 2025 season.

Constructed by Robert “King” Carter and completed in 1735, Christ Church is a National Historic Landmark. The campus includes an interactive museum, attractive gift shop, research library and event center. Tours, family-friendly educational programs and community events take place throughout the year.

Since 1958, the Foundation for Historic Christ Church has led preservation, research and interpretation of the site with the help of hundreds of volunteers.

“We simply could not do what we do without our amazing volunteers,” said development director Jill Sears. “Volunteers are the heart and soul of HCC&M.
