St. Mary’s Whitechapel Episcopal Church will host the annual Blessing of the Animals at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, October 29, at the Labyrinth on the church grounds, 5490 White Chapel Road, Lancaster. This service coincides with the feast of St. Francis, known for his love of animals.
“We know deeply the blessing that our animals are in our lives,” said The Rev. Megan Limburg. “Our animals are woven into our daily lives and bring us such joy and connection. This day gives us an opportunity to thank God for them and to remember that we are called to love and appreciate and care for all of God’s creations.”
