Stratford Hall Historic Preserve, 483 Great House Road, Stratford, recently announced the schedule for the Stratford Hall Wine & Oyster Festival September 19 and 20. The festival will be held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
General admission wine-tasting tickets are $50. Non-tasting tickets are $25. The fee is $10 for children ages 7-12. Those 6 and younger will be admitted free. Physical, valid IDs will be required to get age-verified wristbands at check-in or the Stratford Hall information tent for all alcohol purchases and consumption.
Tasting tickets will include samples from participating wineries and a souvenir wine glass. All tickets grant access to festival activities as well as the Visitor Center, Gif Shop, Gardens and tours of Great House. The Great House will be open for tours from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
