The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission’s Atlantic Striped Bass Management Board recently released a draft addendum to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Atlantic Striped Bass for public comment.
Atlantic coastal states from Maine through North Carolina, including Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia and the Potomac River Fisheries Commission (PRFC), have scheduled hearings to gather public input on the addendum, reported Martin L. Gray of the PRFC.
The Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) will conduct a hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday, September 9, at 380 Fenwick Road, Fort Monroe, Hampton. The PRFC will conduct a hearing at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, at 222 Taylor Street, Colonial Beach.
