Chesapeake Academy third- and fourth-grade dramatists joined on November 2 and presented “Turkeys Go On Strike” by Ron Fink and John Heath.
This version of a traditional Thanksgiving tale provided the school audience opportunities to explore the meaning of gratitude from a variety of perspectives, reported head of school Julianne T. Duvall.
“The range of groups represented in this dramatic presentation drove home to all how connected we all are particularly at this Thanksgiving holiday, which was established by Abraham Lincoln on November 26, 1863,” said Duvall.
