Students in grades 1-4 at Lancaster Elementary School benefited from a recent book giveaway courtesy of the Literacy Project.

Students chose three books from a variety of grade-level appropriate selections, said principal Keegan Walters. They were able to receive books of their interest, a strategy that is proven to promote reading and improve literacy.
Students were excited and thankful for the opportunity to expand their personal libraries, said Keegan. Thanks to the Literacy Project for helping put books into the hands of LES ….
