Sundays at Two to explore humanitarian support to remote parts of the world

The Lancaster Community Library (LCL) Sundays at Two lecture series will continue April 3 with “Empowering Small Communities and Forgotten People,” by Zeno Gamble, a board member of The Blessing Projects (TBP). The presentation will begin at 2 p.m. at LCL, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

 TBP began in 2016 with building a school in a remote Massai village in Kenya and has now spread to over 20 countries worldwide, reported library director Alice Cooper. TBP projects have included funding vocational training in Uganda, providing medical supplies for semi-nomadic people in Namibia, sponsoring orphans in Rwanda, providing displaced and persecuted minorities in the Middle East with food and medication and digging wells and building sustainable projects in Africa. In August 2021, thousands of Afghans, stuck at the Kabul airport….
