The Lancaster Community Library Sundays at Two lecture series will continue March 27 with The Dazzling Skies of the Northern Neck, by U.S. Naval Observatory astronomer Geoff Chester.
The presentation will begin at 2 p.m. at LCL, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Chester will show those in attendance the open horizons of Virginia’s Northern Neck and a dazzling array of “skyscapes” that many people never notice, reported library director Alice Cooper.
Chester likes to think of the sky as the “world’s largest national park” and capturing its beauty and ever-changing moods is one of his greatest passions, said Cooper.
