Supervisor honored for 24 years of service

The Northumberland board of supervisors on Thursday, December 11, recognized outgoing District 2 supervisor Richard Haynie for his 24 years on the board, 16 as vice-chairman and five years as chairman. “You don’t serve on this board for personal gain. You do it for your own joy of helping the public and I have really enjoyed serving here on this board,” said Haynie. From left are District 4 supervisor A.C.
