LANCASTER—County supervisors had a few things to say about the recent shoulder-widening project on a section of Mary Ball Road from Courthouse Road to Hickory Hill Lane.
In addition to problems with school bus and emergency medical service delays, supervisors said there were obvious problems with the design.
“Whoever said not to do the driveways ought to be strung up,” said supervisor Craig Giese. “If that was to make the shoulders safer, I’d like to know how. You’ve got all these spots with potholes and everything else where every driveway is. They need to fix that as soon as they can.”
