WICOMICO CHURCH—On Friday, December 16, Susan Hall Delano passed away suddenly at her home in Wicomico Church. She was 70 years old.

Born to Hester (Higginbotham) and Winston Randolph Hall in Charlottesville, she leaves her beloved son, Hunter Hall of Kilmarnock; brother, Jeffrey Hall and wife Shelley of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; their children Erika (Hall) and Daniel Filipe, parents of Ivy and Oliver of Northborough, Mass., and Wesley Harrison Hall of Worcester, Mass.

Susan was predeceased by husbands, Larry E. Hall of Virginia Beach and Elliott Earl Delano of Wicomico Church. She is survived by dozens of cousins and their families as well as her Aunt Althea Pace of Orange, Virginia.

 A graduate of Averett University in Danville, Susan shared her creativity and joy of life as an artist and a gifted pianist.

Donations may be made to either of the churches where she assisted with music ministry, worshipping with husband Elliott for many years, and receiving loving support and encouragement from Reverend Lee Scripture, Pastor Donna Blythe and many cherished friends.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, January 21, at Currie Funeral Home, 116 East Church Street, Kilmarnock. A reception will immediately follow at Hills Quarter Community Center and Clubhouse, 723 Old Saint Johns Road, Irvington.
